The very latest results are in! Schullo Oats: Steel Cut, Thick Rolled, Quick Oats, and Oat Bran, meet the criteria of less than <20 parts per million of gluten.

These results confirm SCHULLO’s careful observance of Organic and Good Manufacturing practices.   We successfully meet the challenge to prevent cross contamination at our facilities where other ingredients considered as potential allergens are handled such as wheat, nuts, eggs and dairy.

Less than <20 ppm for Gluten is the official criteria ruled by FDA in 2013, to deem any product as gluten free and safe for people suffering from Celiac Disease, (same as 20mg of gluten per kilogram of food).  While meeting the criteria for <20ppm of Gluten, enables companies to make a voluntary “Gluten Free” claim on its labels, our company considers that adding yet another audit to become “gluten free” certified, would make our already premium products and processes unnecessarily more expensive for our consumers.
