We’re excited to introduce our vanilla and coconut extracts, along with our all-natural orange essence, now available in Schullo’s Online Store. These are the same premium extracts we have trusted and used in our own products for decades.

Our extracts are carefully crafted by soaking the natural ingredient in a blend of alcohol and water for up to six months. This traditional process gently draws out the pure, unadulterated flavors of the fruit, nut, or seed, resulting in a rich, complex, and truly authentic taste.

Our All-Natural Orange Essence is slightly different. It is a more concentrated form of orange extract, meaning you need to use less to achieve a vibrant citrus flavor. Essences are commonly used in commercial baking because they deliver a stronger flavor in smaller amounts.

When substituting an extract for an essence, you can generally use a 1:1 ratio. For example, if a recipe calls for 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence, simply use 1 teaspoon of Schullo Vanilla Extract instead. Keep in mind that when baking at higher temperatures, some of the alcohol in extracts may evaporate during cooking, so you may wish to slightly adjust the amount to achieve your desired flavor intensity.
