We are always looking for ways to recycle and reduce waste. With some of our processes at Schullo there is invariably residue from the hand selection of our products. For example, we hand select rice, so any grains that don’t meet our standards are removed.

So, the question is, what to do with such scrumptious and healthy leftovers? Just who would really appreciate them? 

Goats! Not just any goats, but goats specifically bred to produce the artisanal goat cheeses and other products at La Pampilla. 

"Our goats love the Schullo leftovers, they are definitely of excellent quality. We only give them as feed to the mothers who are pregnant, as it will contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of the mothers, and their offspring will have healthier weights," commented Jose Maldonado, owner of La Pampilla.
